In addition, the Kiwanians provide assistance in the form of equipment loans, sponsorship, supplies and direct assistance to sports clubs for people with intellectual disabilities.<\/p>\n<p>Each year Special Olympics Belgium (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.specialolympics.be\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">www.specialolympics.be<\/a>) organizes various events and meetings, culminating in the organization of the National Games, which traditionally take place on Ascension weekend.<\/p>\n<p>Kiwanis&#8217; support for the annual Games is primarily in three areas: volunteers, Kiwanisvillage(s) and financial support.
